Public Events

Here our main hall capacities (with higher numbers possible by spreading the event across multiple venues):

• Concerts, Music & Club Nights – with a capacity for up to 600 persons
• Ceilidhs – with a capacity for up to 300 dancers
• Markets – capacity for 100 stalls
• Fight Nights (boxing, kickboxing, wrestling): 500

We love to stage as many public events as we can, bringing the full community through the doors of Bonar Hall.

You can decorate the venue as you wish, whilst we have all the appliances and equipment that you will need. Menus can be tailored and personalised to your event, whilst the professional team at Bonar Hall is one of the most dynamic and skilled around, with expertise incorporating all aspects of event management, set-up, venue décor, food, drink, light & sound production – covering the full A-Z of services for your event!

We will also be on-hand to support on the day, taking the stress away from the organisers and keeping the day running to your timetable.

Booking Bonar Hall includes free of charge Event Marketing

Make the most of our already captive audience of almost 20,000 (16,000+ students and 2,000 + staff) by utilising the following service add-ons:

• Poster sites – provide us with the posters and we will display😊 (portrait images sized A0 & 40×60”)
• Advertising spots on bar TVs – send us your screen ad formatted in Jpeg size 1920 x 1080, 16:9
• Inclusion in monthly mailshots promoting our event schedule
• Inclusion in bi-annual magazines – you are welcome to submit articles of (of between 300-2000) words and images for publication
• Promote through our social media
• Take a stall at University sites – including at extremely well attended sales events such as the bi-annual Freshers Fayres.
• Additionally, you may also wish to employ our excellent staff services (subject to extra charge at reasonable rates) to assist with the design of marketing literature and/or other activities such as flyering in the local community.
